Upcoming Pro-Life Events

Below are some upcoming pro-life events (not organized by Law Students for Life) coinciding with the upcoming Vice Presidential Debate. I just wanted to post them for those who can attend.

Tomorrow, October 1, at 7:00pm there will be a rally with national and local pro-life speakers at St. Louis University, 3010 Olive Street.

Thursday, October 2, beginning at 5:00pm there will be a pro-life demonstration/protest at the corner of Skinker and Forest Park.

First Meeting of the Semester

Law Students for Life will be having our first meeting of the semester on Monday, September 22nd at 12:00pm in Room 203. All are welcome to learn about our organization and our plans for the coming semester. Pizza will be provided!

Organizational Meeting and Elections

Tomorrow, March 31, at 1:00pm in Room 305, LSPL will be having its semester organizational meeting and holding elections for next year's officers. We will be discussing our plans for the rest of the semester and beyond. Pizza will be provided.

It includes a description of what each member ofthe Executive Board does and what our group is about. Being an officer is very rewarding, especially when compared to the small investment oftime that it requires. Please come if you want to run for office, just vote in the elections,or simply want to learn more about the organization.

New Anti-Cloning Blog

Sorry for the lateness of this update, but a new blog on the Cures Without Cloning ballot initiative was recently formed. Currently, it has the latest news on the ballot initiative regarding its initial language and the ballot summary proposed by the Secretary of State which has been appealled to the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District. Human Cloning Speaker

This is just to let everyone and anyone know that we will be hosting Dave Drury, an attorney and President of Missouri Lawyers for Life tomorrow, Nov. 7, at 12:00 pm in Room 309. He will be speaking about stem cell research and cloning and their relation to Missouri law. Free pizza will be provided. See you then!
